As the official student association of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (UGent), we represent more than 7,000 students from programmes such as Business Engineering, Applied Economic Sciences, Business Sciences, Public Administration & Management, and Economic Sciences.

Our mission? To support students in their professional development and to connect companies directly with young, ambitious talent. We achieve this through a wide range of on- and off-campus events, such as the VEK Career Day, Company Meet & Greet, UGent Business Game, Competence Night, and much more.

For companies, this offers a unique opportunity to position themselves to get to know high potentials early on and to build a relationship with future employees even before they enter the job market. By being present at our events, your organisation can increase its brand awareness, inspire students, and make direct contact with young talents who are ready to make a difference.

The VEK Career Day is our largest and most prestigious event. Every year, more than 140 companies and business schools gather to meet with over 1,500 students with a broad economic background. For companies, this is the opportunity to present themselves as attractive employers, engage directly with motivated students, and make an initial selection of future talent. With extras such as a CV screening, LinkedIn photobooth, and the Career Guide, we ensure that students are perfectly prepared to meet your company. Corporate relations

In addition to recruitment, VEK strongly focuses on broad collaborations and brand activations. While VEK Recruitment concentrates on job fairs, VEK Business Relations takes care of all other forms of partnerships.
