The VEK is known for its many parties and activities. We are here to give all students an incredible year. And by all students, we really mean all students, including those who have traveled to our beautiful city from all over the world.

Both for incoming and outgoing students, we and the international team of VEK do everything we can to give you an unforgettable time. Not only can you come to us with all your questions about school, but we also offer a fun mix of activities in the heart of Ghent. As you may have heard, Ghent was voted the best Erasmus destination and we will show you that this title is fully deserved!

Welcome international students!

Our international team will welcome you with open arms and pull out all the stops to introduce you to this breathtaking city. We will welcome everyone to our campus warmly and ensure you can start your adventure with peace of mind.

 

Throughout the year we provide all kinds of activities. For example, we organize an exam fair where you can ask questions about all the courses and exams. Moreover, you can get advice from your fellow students to be well-prepared for the exam period, but studying abroad is not only about studying. It's about meeting new people, exploring another city, rediscovering yourself. That is why we also provide you with wonderful activities that will make your time in Ghent unforgettable.

 

Let's take a quick look ahead. This academic semester we are planning Paintball, ice skating, and much more! For these events, international students do NOT need to be members of FEB. Both Erasmus students and Degree students from all faculties are welcome to join us, so feel free to bring your friends and join our whatsappgroup!

Voor onze Belgische studenten...

Ben je zelf van plan om op Erasmus te gaan, maar weet je niet waar te beginnen? Geen zorgen want wij zullen helpen jullie zo goed mogelijk voor te bereiden op deze spannende ervaring. Wij voorzien voldoende infomomenten zodat jullie goed weten wat er te wachten staat. Zo zullen Erasmusstudenten van vorige jaren hun ervaringen delen en zal er informatie volgen over de selectieprocedure. Ook zullen wij jullie begeleiden bij alle uitdagingen die gepaard gaan met Erasmus zoals het vinden van een verblijfplaats en de communicatie met de lokale faculteit. Wij kunnen niet wachten om jullie te begeleiden doorheen één van de meest memorabele periodes in jullie studentencarrière!

 

Vergeet zeker niet om ons te volgen op Facebook om zo op de hoogte te blijven van onze evenementen! Ook is het aangeraden om de onze Whatsapp groepen te joinen, zodat je ons en je mede studenten snel kan bereiken.

 

Zit je nog met vragen of onzekerheden, twijfel dan niet ons te contacteren. Wij staan heel het jaar klaar om jullie twijfels en zorgen weg te nemen en jullie een onvergetelijk jaar te bezorgen.
