Anyone who thinks of the VEK immediately thinks of our legendary parties. From our weekly Wednesday parties in the Yucca to our memorable gala in 't Kuipke, our events are a crucial part of Ghent student life. Our party team this academic year consists of two praesidium members Morane and Victor and two committee members Antje and Warre. We are extremely excited to make this 100th year unforgettable! In November we will kick off the year with an opening party at the Vooruit. In the second semester, we will provide you with a phenomenal event every day during the party week. The highlight of our year is the Galabal van de Economie. This Lustrum edition will be even bigger, even more decadent, and even more VEK! In addition to all our big events, we will be taking over the Yucca every Wednesday for our weekly themed party with special promos. Here you are all welcome to dance the night away or have a drink at the bar.

On October 1, the party will take place on the water, and we are the only association in Ghent that organizes this unique event. An absolute unique!
